Acosta leads FP1 at KTM’s home race in Austria
The Spaniard opened the Spielberg weekend on top, giving KTM a promising start at its home Grand Prix.

Pedro Acosta started the Austrian Grand Prix weekend by setting the fastest lap in the opening free practice session at Spielberg. The young Spaniard gave KTM a strong beginning to its home round, on a circuit where the Austrian manufacturer races in front of its own fans.
Other MotoGP riders also showed speed in FP1, a session that was mainly about getting up to pace at the Red Bull Ring. For KTM, though, the first message of the weekend is clear: Acosta is there and ready to fight for the spotlight.
