Acosta: the new 2027 MotoGP format could shorten careers
The KTM rider criticises the more demanding system: in his view, the extra pressure and workload could become too heavy for riders.
Pedro Acosta has raised serious concerns about the MotoGP format planned from 2027, warning that the increase in decisive sessions could put riders under major pressure and even shorten their careers.
The Spaniard fears that, with qualifying, sprint races and the new rules, the space to recover physically and mentally will become too small. In his view, the change could end up favouring only those who can best handle the extreme demands of the weekend.
