Argentina dreams of a Formula 1 return, president says
The Argentine government is reviving the idea of hosting a Grand Prix, with track upgrades and investment on the table.

Argentina wants back into the Formula 1 picture, and the president has confirmed that the country is working to bring a Grand Prix to Buenos Aires. The goal is to make use of the existing circuit and put together a convincing proposal for F1.
For South American motorsport, it would be a major comeback: Argentina last hosted a Grand Prix in 1998. Now the challenge is time, funding and meeting the standards required to win over Liberty Media and the FIA.
