Aston Martin pushes back its EV debut: not before 2033
The British brand takes a cautious path, putting more focus on combustion engines and hybrids while its first EV slips again.
Aston Martin has moved the arrival of its first electric model even further out: a launch is now not expected before 2033. The British brand prefers to keep investing in combustion engines and hybrids, which it sees as a better match for current market demand.
For European drivers, including those in Italy, the message is clear: the Gaydon marque does not want to rush the transition. In the near term, the focus will remain on traditional sports cars, while a full EV will join the lineup only when conditions are judged truly right.
