Austria is a special round for Razgatlioglu for a very simple reason
For the Turkish rider, the Spielberg event feels almost like a home venue thanks to his familiarity with the track, the setting and its technical demands.
For Toprak Razgatlioglu, the MotoGP weekend in Austria has a special meaning. Even if he is racing a different bike from the Superbike world he knows so well, the Turkish rider sees Spielberg as a familiar place thanks to the many tests and results he has built there over the years.
The Red Bull Ring is fast and does not rely on overly complicated track cues, which makes it one of the European circuits that suits him best. That is why the Austrian round is treated by Razgatlioglu almost like a home race, with high expectations and strong support from Turkish fans.
