Marc Marquez topped the practice session at the Austrian GP, underlining a strong start to the weekend at the Red Bull Ring. Marco Bezzecchi and Francesco Bagnaia followed closely behind, with the top riders separated by only a few tenths.
The first meaningful session for the classification already pointed to a tight battle ahead of qualifying. For the Italian riders, the signs are encouraging: the pace is there and the fight for the front rows is wide open.
