The Azerbaijani street circuit has produced crashes, safety cars and wild finishes: a decade of races rarely going to plan.
Baku quickly became one of Formula 1’s most unpredictable venues. Since its 2016 debut, the Azerbaijani street track has combined very long straights, tight corners and unforgiving walls, often producing races interrupted by crashes and strategy swings right to the final lap.
Across ten years, there have been plenty of unforgettable moments: teammate clashes, late drama and major shocks for the championship picture. For Italian fans, Baku remains a place where everything can change in a few metres, with danger always close by.
