BMW F 450 RR debuts with a fully faired design and F 450 GS engine

BMW is expanding its middleweight range with the F 450 RR, a sports motorcycle featuring full fairing. Compared with the F 450 GS, recently linked to the same engine project, the new model adopts a road-focused performance character.

The motorcycle shares its engine with the Bavarian crossover, but places it in a configuration designed for the compact sports-bike segment. The unveiling adds another element to BMW Motorrad’s strategy of attracting riders looking for a first sports motorcycle in the middleweight class.
