BMW i3 Neue Klasse: the new electric model that carries on the 3 Series legacy
BMW is preparing its most anticipated battery-powered sedan: long range, a new platform and a market launch expected in the coming months.
BMW is bringing back the i3 name, but in a completely different form: it will be an electric sedan based on the Neue Klasse platform, designed to sit alongside the future 3 Series in spirit. The project focuses on efficiency, updated technology and range figures that should be very competitive for the segment.
For Italian buyers, this will be a key model, combining premium midsize proportions with running costs lower than those of petrol versions. The commercial launch is expected within the next year, with pricing still to be confirmed but positioned at the upper end of the range.
