Bridgestone returns to the top level as Formula E tyre supplier

Bridgestone will return to the highest levels of motorsport: from the 2026/27 season, it will become the sole tyre supplier for Formula E. The agreement will coincide with the arrival of the Gen4 cars, the championship’s new generation of electric single-seaters.

For the Japanese manufacturer, this marks a return to top-level racing after leaving Formula 1 at the end of 2010. Bridgestone will develop tyres tailored to the electric series, focusing on performance, durability and the use of more sustainable materials.
