Can-Am brings electric motorcycles to the Philippines, but charging is a puzzle
The North American brand’s new battery-powered motorcycles arrive in the Philippine market, where public chargers are still scarce.
Can-Am has started selling its electric motorcycles in the Philippines, expanding the international presence of its zero-emission range. For the North American brand, this is an important step in a market where electric mobility is growing.
However, the launch comes with a practical issue: the Philippine public charging network is still underdeveloped. Finding a compatible charger could therefore be harder for riders than buying the motorcycle itself, especially outside the main urban areas.
