CFMOTO 675SR-S to Replace Yamaha R7 in WorldWCR
The women’s world circuit racing championship is changing motorcycles: CFMOTO’s three-cylinder sportbike takes over from the Yamaha R7.
The WorldWCR is preparing for a technical change. The CFMOTO 675SR-S has been selected to replace the Yamaha R7 in the world championship reserved for female riders, which has so far used the Japanese sportbike in a one-make format.
The new CFMOTO brings a three-cylinder engine to the track and marks the Chinese manufacturer’s entry into this international arena. The switch is a significant step for the series, which will continue to give riders a common platform for competition on circuits around the world.
