Citroën Ami, the modern 2CV returns to the city
The small French electric vehicle is updated with 2CV-inspired styling and a price close to 8,000 euros.
The updated Citroën Ami takes up the ideal legacy of the 2CV: it is an essential, affordable solution designed for urban mobility. Its revised design recalls some features of the historic French model, without turning it into a real car.
It remains a two-seat electric quadricycle, limited to 45 km/h and offering around 75 km of range. It can be charged from a standard household socket and, in Italy, may be driven from the age of 14 with an AM licence. The entry price is around 8,000 euros.
