The CPMC X6 aims to bring Apple CarPlay to motorcycles through a unit designed to mount neatly on the handlebars. The pitch is appealing: maps, music and calls visible at a glance without handling the phone.
In real use, though, there are clear signs that the product still needs refinement, both in terms of polish and everyday usability. Riders looking for a cheaper alternative to traditional motorcycle sat-navs may find it worth considering, but it does not yet feel fully finished.
