Croatia offers up to €9,000 in subsidies for private EV buyers
Zagreb has launched a new zero-emission mobility scheme aimed at households buying battery-powered cars and light vehicles.
Croatia has opened a new subsidy program for citizens looking to purchase an electric vehicle. Backed by public funding, the scheme is designed mainly for households and aims to speed up the shift toward battery-powered cars and light-duty models.
The move comes as interest in EV incentives is rising across Europe, including Italy. In Croatia, the grant can significantly reduce the upfront cost and give the green market a boost, still held back by high purchase prices.
