The return of the Dodge Charger Hellcat with a supercharged V8 is becoming an increasingly realistic possibility. Rumours point to 2027 as a potential debut year, bringing the high-performance version of the American muscle car back to the scene.

The new Charger has also been launched as an electric model and with six-cylinder engines, while Dodge has not officially confirmed the Hellcat. A V8 would preserve the brand’s traditional character, but power, specifications and European availability remain undecided.
