Dodge Charger, Stellantis plans the return of the Hellcat V8
The American brand is considering a new eight-cylinder Charger to join the electric and six-cylinder versions.
Stellantis is reportedly considering the launch of a Dodge Charger powered by a V8 from the Hellcat family. The project would bring the high-performance engine back to the lineup, after the new Charger also adopted electric and six-cylinder solutions.
No timetable, output figures or other technical details have been announced so far. A possible V8 return would mark a change of direction from the original strategy and keep the tradition of American muscle cars alive.
