Ducati Desmo450 SM 2027: the Bologna supermoto takes shape
Built from the Desmo450 base, this supermoto version is aimed at road and track use, with a 2027 debut expected.
Ducati is working on a Desmo450 SM, a supermoto-style evolution of the 450 platform already seen in the company’s lineup. The goal is to move the platform into a more aggressive segment, with a light setup, 17-inch wheels and the character of a high-performance fun bike.
Expected for 2027, the model would broaden Ducati’s offer in the world of lightweight specialist bikes, a sector that is becoming increasingly relevant in Europe as well. For the Italian market, it would be a very intriguing proposition: racing looks, simple mechanics and DNA clearly linked to Borgo Panigale.
