EV sales in the U.S. rise again: best quarter in a year
Electric car sales are accelerating in the American market, helped by new models and firmer demand than in previous months.
In the third quarter of 2026, the U.S. electric car market posted its highest volume in twelve months, confirming fresh momentum after a more uncertain phase. Growth was driven mainly by the arrival of updated models and by buyers paying closer attention to prices and running costs.
For Europe, and therefore Italy as well, the figure is a useful signal: in the United States, EVs are continuing to gain ground despite intense competition and demand that still remains highly sensitive to incentives.
