F1, Rwanda prepares new circuit on the outskirts of Kigali
The African project aims to bring Formula 1 to Rwanda with a permanent venue near the capital.

Rwanda is working on a new circuit to support the country’s bid for a place on the Formula 1 calendar. The venue will be built in the Kigali area and is one of the most ambitious projects aimed at bringing the championship back to Africa.
The facility is not ready yet, and there is no official date for a possible Grand Prix. However, the site visit confirmed that the plan is progressing and that Rwanda wants a modern circuit capable of hosting international events.
