FilmQuest 2026 opens with motorcycle drama “Whiskey Throttle”

FilmQuest 2026 opened with “Whiskey Throttle,” an action film centered on motorcycles and shot in Utah, chosen as the festival’s launch title. The screening drew a festive crowd, underlining the growing interest in two-wheel stories beyond the racing world.

For Italian enthusiasts, it is a reminder that motorcycles are becoming increasingly important in independent cinema too: not just speed, but also conflict, identity and a passion for the road.
