Rwanda is expected to join the Formula 1 calendar in the early 2030s. The African country is working on a project to host a Grand Prix, with Kigali among the areas under consideration.

The initiative would bring F1 back to the continent after the last race held in South Africa in 1993. The circuit, infrastructure and possible debut date have yet to be defined.
