Honda may be developing a new V3 sportbike to replace the CBR600RR
Honda’s new V3 platform could form the basis of a modern middleweight supersport model with a fresh technical approach.
Honda is working on an all-new V3 engine, a technical layout that could become the foundation for a new middleweight sportbike. The most likely scenario points to a model that would effectively carry on the spirit of the CBR600RR, which is no longer sold in many markets.
For Italian riders, that would mean a very interesting return to the road-focused supersport segment, which is far less crowded than it once was. The V3 architecture hints at a project focused on compactness, efficiency and character, with the aim of standing apart from traditional inline-four rivals.
