Honda V3 platform may underpin a CBR600RR successor

Honda could use its new V3 platform to develop a successor to the CBR600RR. The possibility renews interest in the middleweight supersport category, which is less crowded than in the past.

There is currently no official confirmation regarding the model, displacement or launch timing. However, the platform could provide Honda with a technical route back into the compact road-sportbike market.
