Hyundai HE1i, the brand’s new compact electric SUV, has been photographed during road testing. The prototype is still heavily camouflaged, confirming that development is well under way, although Hyundai has not disclosed its final name, dimensions, battery or range.
The model is expected to sit below the Creta Electric in Hyundai’s line-up and target the growing compact battery-powered crossover market. Its launch and availability will depend on the manufacturer’s plans; sales in Italy have not been confirmed for now. The images suggest urban-SUV proportions but do not reveal the final design.
