Jaguar Type 00 reveals the British brand’s electric future
After criticism over its new identity, Jaguar unveils the Type 00, an electric grand tourer concept heading for production.
Jaguar has unveiled the Type 00, a concept previewing the first electric grand tourer of the British brand’s new era. It features dramatic proportions, a 2+2 cabin and styling far removed from the manufacturer’s recent tradition.
The car will use Jaguar’s JEA electric platform and is expected to reach the market from 2026. Jaguar targets more than 700 kilometres of range and around 320 kilometres added in 15 minutes of charging. The debut follows criticism of the brand’s controversial rebranding.
