The Jaguar Type 01 is an imposing car designed to deliver a strong visual presence and the performance expected from a large luxury model. With a price close to £150,000, it sits at the top end of the premium market.
During the test, however, its size becomes a real drawback. Narrow streets, limited parking spaces and heavy traffic make the Type 01 cumbersome and impractical in urban areas. A spectacular car, but a difficult one to use in the city.
