Kolkata Police in India is preparing to add 183 electric motorcycles to its fleet. The move aims to make officers’ urban journeys more sustainable.
Battery-powered vehicles can reduce local emissions and noise compared with motorcycles using combustion engines, important factors in a densely populated city. The model, range and delivery schedule have not been disclosed.
