McLaren on pole in Barcelona: qualifying double for the 2026 Spanish GP
The Woking team dominated the Catalan Saturday and placed both cars at the sharp end ahead of the race.
McLaren ended a very strong qualifying session at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, confirming itself as the team to beat in the 2026 Spanish Grand Prix weekend. The work on one-lap pace paid off for both cars, which made the most of the technical package on a track that tests aerodynamic efficiency and balance.
