MotoGP, Marquez cuts through debate on new format: “We must shut up”
The Spanish rider urges MotoGP’s protagonists to accept decisions on the new format and focus on racing.
Marc Marquez has given a blunt assessment of MotoGP’s new format. The Spanish rider acknowledged that some changes may divide opinion, but rejected the idea that the championship’s protagonists should have the final say over its decisions.
His view was summed up in a direct remark: “We must shut up.” According to Marquez, riders should adapt to the rules, work with their teams and put on a show on track, while organisers remain responsible for decisions about the format.
