MotoGP, race weekend format to change from 2027

MotoGP has announced a revision of the race weekend format starting in 2027. The event schedule will be reorganized to make the session order more straightforward and improve the pace of the on-track action.
The change will accompany the technical overhaul planned for 2027, including smaller 850cc engines and new rules for aerodynamics and fuel. The weekend will still run from Friday to Sunday and will continue to include Saturday’s Sprint.
