Northern Ireland Infrastructure Minister Liz Kimmins met students at St Colman’s College ahead of the introduction of Graduated Driver Licensing (GDL), a system that applies progressive restrictions to newly qualified drivers.
The new programme will launch in Northern Ireland tomorrow. The meeting gave the minister an opportunity to outline a reform designed to support young motorists during their first years behind the wheel and improve road safety.
