Plan Auto+: Spain accelerates the spread of electric cars

Spain is preparing Plan Auto+, a measure designed to support the purchase of electric and plug-in hybrid cars. The goal is to renew one of Europe’s oldest vehicle fleets and reduce the entry price of electrified models.
The programme is expected to replace previous incentives, with support based on the vehicle and its environmental features. Madrid therefore wants to strengthen demand and give the energy transition in the car market a concrete boost.
