The Polestar 5 presents a mature package: clean lines, a sporty electric grand-saloon feel and a very convincing on-road character. Up close, it gives a real sense of substance and care, with clear attention paid to dynamics, comfort and perceived quality.
The issue is not the car itself, but the timing. The electric super-saloon market is already packed with very strong rivals, and for the Swedish brand the danger is arriving when the contest is nearly settled. It remains an interesting offer, but its debut could have mattered more.
