The Renault Captur E-Tech proves to be a compact SUV well suited to drivers looking for efficiency and ease of use. In the long-term test, the hybrid system delivered good fuel economy and very smooth behaviour around town.
There are, however, some less convincing aspects, including the automatic transmission’s response in certain situations and the cabin’s practicality, which is not always outstanding. For Italian buyers, it remains a solid alternative to petrol and plug-in models, especially for mainly urban driving.
