Renault prepares new Clio Rally5, debut expected from 2027
The French brand is developing the sixth-generation Clio rally car, aimed at privateer competition and scheduled to arrive from 2027.
Renault is working on the sixth generation of the Clio Rally5, the racing version of its small French hatchback meant for privateer categories. The goal is to have it on rallies and special stages from 2027, carrying on a model that has become widely used in national championships.
The new car is expected to keep the formula that made the Clio Rally5 successful: controlled running costs, simple mechanics and a strong focus on developing young drivers. For Italy, it could become an important benchmark for one-make trophies and regional rallies.
