Roswell Park launches a CAR T trial for ovarian cancer
An exclusive U.S. study will test an “armored” cell therapy designed to boost activity against ovarian cancer.
Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center has launched a new clinical study with Generate Biomedicines to test an “armored” CAR T therapy against ovarian cancer. The goal is to see whether engineered cells can better survive the tumor’s hostile environment and attack it more effectively.
For Italian readers, this is an important step in cancer research: CAR T treatments have already changed care for some blood cancers, but solid tumors remain a major challenge. This trial aims to tackle that gap.
