Spiro brings its first 100 electric motorcycles to Ghana with battery swapping
A zero-emission push begins with an initial fleet and a system that lets riders replace batteries in minutes.
Spiro has delivered its first 100 electric motorcycles in Ghana, marking a new step for urban mobility in the country. The project is aimed especially at transport and delivery use, where running costs and range are key factors.
The bikes are also supported by a battery-swapping solution, which lets riders replace the battery pack instead of waiting for a recharge. For African markets, it is an interesting model and one that could also matter in Italy, because it cuts downtime and makes everyday EV use easier.
