Telo MT1: the compact electric pickup with big-truck ambitions
The Californian startup is developing a 4.6-metre electric pickup designed to combine compact dimensions with the space and performance of a larger truck.
The Telo MT1 is an electric pickup developed by the Californian startup of the same name. At around 4.6 metres long, compact by US-market standards, it offers seating for five and an extendable bed thanks to a foldable partition. Its dual-motor setup is expected to deliver around 500 hp and a claimed range of up to 560 kilometres.
The project aims to pack the load capacity and interior space of a full-size truck into a format better suited to urban driving. Telo also plans fast charging and low-volume production, but it has not yet announced a firm delivery date. For now, the model is mainly aimed at the North American market.
