Tesla and the flying car: the promise is still in the future

Tesla has not yet brought a flying car to market. The promise mainly concerns the future Roadster, for which Elon Musk has suggested a SpaceX package with compressed-air thrusters capable of briefly lifting the vehicle.

This would involve short hops, not autonomous flight comparable to that of an aircraft. The project therefore remains experimental: a final presentation, approval and a firm production date are still missing. For Italian motorists, Tesla’s flying car remains a technological prospect, not a model available to buy.
