Tesla Model 3 test: real-world consumption in our trial

How much does a Tesla Model 3 really consume in everyday life? To find out, we covered 500 kilometres on a mixed route: urban traffic, motorway at 130 km/h and hilly roads.

The overall result was 14.8 kWh per 100 kilometres, a figure that confirms the American saloon's efficiency. In the city the figure drops below 13 kWh, while on the motorway at constant speed it rises to 17 kWh. Rapid charging proved punctual: from 20 to 80 percent in 25 minutes.

Our verdict: it remains the efficiency benchmark in the segment, even if Chinese competition is catching up fast.
