Tesla has removed the electric lumbar-support adjustment from the front passenger seat of the Model 3 and Model Y. The feature, operated through the central touchscreen, remains available for the driver.

The decision is part of the US brand’s strategy to reduce manufacturing costs. Tesla said the control was rarely used. The change applies to vehicles built from 2021 onwards and may therefore affect cars available on the Italian market.
