Tom Cruise and Formula 1: a passion born on set

Tom Cruise first approached the racing world while preparing for “Days of Thunder”, the 1990 film focused on NASCAR. In the following years, however, Formula 1 became an increasingly important part of his professional life.

The actor has attended several Grands Prix and developed closer ties with drivers and teams, eventually driving a modern single-seater during private sessions. His interest also grew through the Apple-produced film “F1”, starring Brad Pitt, which brought the paddock even closer to a wider audience.
