Triumph Bonneville T40 and T40 Black: the classic twin is back

Triumph is reportedly working on a new Bonneville T40, joined by a T40 Black, to expand its modern classic range in 2027. The plan appears to be a motorcycle with traditional styling and more up-to-date hardware, aimed at the middleweight segment and designed to appeal to European riders.

For Italy, that would be a noteworthy addition: the neo-retro market remains strong, and Triumph has long shown it can blend style, build quality and riding enjoyment. If the project is confirmed, the T40 could become one of the most interesting launches for riders wanting vintage charm without giving up everyday usability.
