Triumph is preparing the Bonneville T40, a model expected in 2027 and designed as an entry point to the classic range. The project should use the liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine of around 400cc already found in the company’s 400 models, paired with a six-speed gearbox.
The motorcycle will focus on easy handling, affordable running costs and styling inspired by larger Bonnevilles. Its chassis will remain straightforward, with a traditional riding position and modern equipment. Pricing and availability for the Italian market have not yet been announced.
