Triumph T40 and T40 Black: the new single-cylinder baby Bonnevilles

Triumph is expanding its range with the T40 and T40 Black, two new motorcycles introduced for the Chinese market. The project recalls the shape and character of the Bonneville family, while combining classic styling with a single-cylinder engine from the 400cc class, a simpler and more accessible solution than the British brand’s twin-cylinder models.

The T40 Black stands out mainly through its dark finish and more aggressive appearance, while the T40 adopts a traditional look. Triumph has not yet confirmed whether either motorcycle will reach Europe. For Italy, they therefore remain interesting models to watch, but there is no launch date at present.
