Twelve South is expanding its AirFly range with Drive, an adapter designed to turn wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto into a wireless connection. The device plugs into the car’s USB port and connects to the smartphone without requiring a cable every time.
The solution is intended for vehicles that already support CarPlay or Android Auto via USB: it does not add these features to cars that lack them. The aim is to provide quicker access to navigation, music and calls while reducing cables in the cabin.
