Unique Porsche 911 Turbo S heads to private auction

Porsche is putting a one-off 911 Turbo S on the market, built to celebrate Australia. Nicknamed “Land Down Under,” the car was created as a collector’s piece rather than a model for regular production.

It will go under the hammer in a private auction, a format designed to attract seasoned buyers with very high budgets. For Italian enthusiasts, it is another sign that Stuttgart’s special sports cars are becoming investment pieces as much as driving machines.
