VinFast files its fifth electric scooter design patent in India

VinFast has registered a new design patent for an electric scooter in India. It is the Vietnamese company’s fifth filing in the country involving a two-wheeler, suggesting possible plans to expand into the local market.

Unlike earlier projects, the newly patented model does not appear to be directly derived from scooters already sold in Vietnam. The filing does not yet confirm a commercial launch and provides no details about the battery, range or performance.
