Yamaha Takes Its Electric Motocross Concept Beyond Japan
Yamaha’s battery-powered prototype is heading to international audiences, but it is not yet a production motorcycle.

Yamaha is broadening the reach of its electric motocross concept, previously shown mainly in Japan. The prototype will also appear in international markets, giving riders a preview of the direction the brand is exploring for off-road competition.
Yamaha has not announced a final name or a possible launch date. The motorcycle therefore remains a technology demonstrator while the company evaluates performance, range and energy management before turning the project into a production model.
